Also known as a round kick or roundhouse kick.
This is the most commonly used technique in
taekwondo competitions. They are fast and powerful.

Very effective in competition. It is used to hammer the
opponent's head. Most taekwondo kicks involve bending
the knee as part of the chambering for the kick, but the
Axe Kick is an exception.

4. Side Kick
This is a commonly used defence technique.
The kick is called a "piercing" kick because the motion
